TOP REEF NEWS
The 3rd annual REEF Bash was a rockin’ success!
REEF’s “Party Like a Rock Star” Bash was held on March 9 at the Horseshoe Bend Country Club in Roswell. That 80's Band and opening act, Along for the Ride, rocked the house! REEF debuted text bidding this year, where guests were able to dance the night away all while bidding on their favorites among the fabulous silent auction items available. River Eves supporters that were unable to attend this year’s event were even able to participate in the online bidding from their remote locations.
Auction items included Keith Urban concert tickets with VIP access, Saturday Night Live tickets (including air fare to NYC), and Suntrust Club Braves tickets, compliments of Slalom Consulting. Luxurious beach homes in Hilton Head and St. George’s Island were won by a few lucky bidders. And, back for the third year were the ever-popular teacher experiences, including an Afternoon Out with Your Favorite Teacher, Principal for the Day, Queen of the Carpool, and much more.
All proceeds from the REEF “Party Like a Rock Star” event benefit the technology initiatives of REEF, including the purchase of interactive projectors for Special Education and TAG classrooms, document cameras to support every ActivBoard in the school, and provision of a qualified Technology Coach to support the integration of technology into the curriculum.
We hope you didn’t miss out on this rockin’ event, but if you did, don’t worry, we’ll be back in Spring 2014 offering our 4th annual REEF Bash, sure to live up to the fun-filled reputation of REEF’s past three bashes!
