River Eves is Leading the Way in STEM
STEM DAYS
River Eves is one of the top STEM elementary schools in Georgia. In 2015, River Eves Elementary became the first school in Fulton County to earn the Georgia Department of Education's (GaDOE) distinguished STEM certification, joining only 12 other elementary schools in the state with this distinction. Since then, River Eves has been nominated for numerous STEM awards and is a formidable competitor in the Georgia Scientific Olympiad competition.
REEF provides all the supplies for STEM days where students immerse themselves in day long STEM projects. The students get a chance to explore engaging challenges, use their mind to build unique experiments, and use Project Based Learning to work together as a team. STEM days are energizing and inspiring and REEF has a goal to provide both supplies and grants to teachers to spark the STEM passion in our students.
